The happy owner of this flat is woman, who is an advertising agent. Her apartment is small in size but has a major advantage over most others – this apartment has two levels. On each of the floors (33 and 30 m), she wanted to create an interior full of comfort. However, new apartment seemed too be to isolated for a new owner, because originally it was divided into several rooms. Designer Belen Ferrandiz helped her to create the illusion of a single flat space and make it modern and stylish.
The loft style is often perceived as “male”, “brutal”, “industrial”. Women, often, rarely give it preference. But the owner of this apartment offered to her designer to create a “women loft” full of elegance and reflecting her own creative nature.
Minimalist approach to color and materials, combined with design furniture – is, in this case, not a way to show the creativity of the designer, and fine-tuned solution. While the interior has turned fashionable and cozy at the same time filled with, as in such cases, they say, “Light and air.”

Overall flat plan and the furnishing of the first level
Every corner of this flat was well thought through while designing the interior. Main parts of the whole apartment were chosen to be in bright colors. This would visually expand the space and make it lighter. Old laminate was replaced with oak parquet, which made apartment more luxurious.

Glass is a key element in the design of this loft. It enhances lightness of the interior.
The following parts in this apartment are made from glass: the door between the kitchen and living room, a partition separating the kitchen from the stairs to the 2nd floor, a baffle plate on the 2nd floor and countertop dining table.
This apartment begins with dining room, passing into the living room, from which you can get in the kitchen or to the second floor, which looks like a “balcony”. Walled off by glass walls, it offers an amazing view of the living-dining room.
Loft Interior of a living room:
Living room color scheme is based on the contrast of white and gray. This creates a sense of harmony and balance. Bright stuff (pictures, pillows, blankets) enliven the room, adding some dynamism.
In the middle of the room there’s a polished metal table, imitating the chest. Under the window there’s a small, almost invisible fireplace. It also aims to add comfort and make a bright space less cold. By the fireplace there’s a floor lamp on a tripod, composing glamorous duo with a replica of the legendary chair “Barcelona” by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Cast frame and recognizable elegant legs in the X form in conjunction with stitched leather upholstery create a luxurious addition to the ambiance of this loft.
TV with two unusual speakers on the sides and original hanging shelves create a picturesque composition in the “techno” style. Glass door between the kitchen and the living room opens into the kitchen – this makes living room look more spacious.
Loft dining room interior:
Besides the color contrast between accent wall of bluish-gray wallpaper with fine silky texture and virtually weightless outboard rack, attention is drawn to the unusual and the base table lamp in brushed metal, in common with a table in the living room area.
Kitchen loft interior:
Game of contrasts of light and dark, visually separates the kitchen at work and dining area. The work area – white walls and furniture in the dining – bar stools and a couple of bright chairs.
Bedroom and bathroom interiors of a first level of a loft flat
Gray walls, metal furniture and modern fixtures bring urbanity spirit but bright bedspread and pillows diluted monochromatic range, reflecting the bright personality hostess. A wooden door built-in cabinets visually make the room warmer.
Hanging furniture and rectangular mirror in the bathroom appear in harmony with a pattern tile. It is not only beautiful, but also creates a sense of order.
